It is something we all can relate to: that dreaded moment when you realize that your super-fast computer is now bogged down by renegade files, programs, and services. I mean to say that, the most exciting part of buying a new PC is the first time you turn it on and just experience its amazing speed. And then after few months you use your computer -- perhaps a few years -- the productivity of system and computer have both slowed to a crawl.

Add memory
One of the quickest and easiest way to increase your computer's performance is by adding more memory into it, also known as RAM. Believe it or not, but adding memory is cheap, and requires little knowledge on your part. In then fact, most memory can be swapped out in under 5 minutes at home.
There is a lot of confusing terminology when it comes to purchasing memory, but don't let it intimidate you.
I recommend using Crucial.com's free tool to help you find what type of and how much memory your computer requires. There is even a brief video tutorial walking you through the installation.
Don't just take my word for how easy and beneficial memory upgrades are: Scott Stein documented his experience with swapping out RAM in a MacBook and was pleasantly surprised.

Computers are just like a junk drawer, full of unuseful and unessential items we always think we need to keep.

Startup items
It is so funny that how quickly we go from having a computer that boots up incredibly fast, to having enough time to pour a cup of coffee before the computer lets us perform a simple task. This is due to startup items which eats away precious resources.
Windows users can use CCleaner to modify unnecessary startup items, or i will recommend to use Advanced SystemCare for the best care of your Computer. While Mac users will need to dive into System Preferences.
You will have to Launch System Preferences and select either Accounts or Users & Groups. The button for which you are looking for is the "Login items" button which is just above your user picture. Click on it and go through the list of apps currently enabled to run at log-in.
There are plenty more ways to improve performance on any computer system; some of which are better with results than others.

There are a lots of great reasons why a user should use an Android emulator. Perhaps now you're thinking to ditch your iPhone in favor of, we can say, a Google Nexus, but still you want to test-drive Android first. Or maybe there is an app which would be convenient to run on your Desktop PC, like Messaging, Viber, or WhatsApp. Heck, or maybe you just want to enjoy Clash of Clans on a larger screen.
Whatever be your plans, Andy should be able to fulfill them. Unlike BlueStacks, Youwave which merely runs Google Play Store's Android apps, this free utility gives you a fully operable Android OS experience on a Windows or Mac system, and it can even sync with your existing Android device.
Here is how to get started with it:
Step One: First of all you have to download, install, and start your Andy. (I tested it on a my system which runs on Windows 8.).
When you will run Andy for the very first time then you'll need to approve a request of Windows firewall.
Step Two: After "booting," you will be able to see an Android OS Welcome screen, same as if you would just booted a new tablet. (Andy currently runs Android 4.2, which is Jelly Bean.) You will have to use your mouse to click on Start (unless your system has a touchscreen monitor, in which case you can tap!).
Step Three: In this step you will have to sign in into your Google account (if you have one), then you have to complete the rest of the setup screens -- again, same as you would do on a tablet. You will also be asked to give your Google account info for 1ClickSync, this app that lets you sync between your Andy and your Android device.
Step Four: Now this is the last step. In this step you should be looking at an Android home screen. You can now rotate screen between portrait and landscape mode by clicking on the corresponding buttons at the bottom right of the Andy window. Likewise, there is a Fullscreen button which acts as a toggle between fullscreen mode and window modes. You will also see Back button, Home button, and Menu button, which can be helpful if you encounter an app that somehow obscures those buttons within Android proper.
And that's it! Now you can easily knock around Android OS device, you can visit the Google Play Store, download, install and run apps, games, ebooks, and so on. However, Andy also offers a few other features which you might want to try.
First of all, there is an Andy app which you can run on your smartphone or tablet. This app lets you control the emulator from that device. This might come in handy if you reakky want to play accelerometer-controlled games, or leverage touch capabilities on a desktop that lacks a touchscreen.
At the press time, this remote-control app wasn't listed on the Andy's official website, but the company reputation made it available for download via Dropbox. (Note that it is an .APK format file, so you will need to download it directly to your Android os device, and you may need to update your settings to allow apps from unknown sources.) Once install completes, just run this app. As long as your PC and smartphone/tablet are connected over the same Wi-Fi network, the latter should immediately detect the former.
Second is tha, if you launch the 1ClickSync app within the Andy emulator (it is located on the main Apps page), then you can sync any and all apps you have already installed (to your mobile device) from the Google Play Store. After launching 1ClickSync, click on Google Play Store, then you can choose the app(s) you want to sync.

There is a problem that plagues not only beginner users, but advanced Android owners alike (the only difference is the latter usually know how to fix it). Sometimes when you are using an android app, it will suddenly close and the message ‘unfortunately (app name) has stopped’ appears on the screen. This message also pops up when you are not even using the app. Below are the ways to fix this issue.
Clearing up the app storage
This problem often arises with the contacts, games, gallery and even with launcher apps, among many others. For example, I always receive the ‘Unfortunately contacts has stopped” error on my Galaxy S3 and it annoys me a lot. The procedure to fix this is generally always the same in android os based phones.
First of all you have to go to the settings on your Android smartphones.
Keep scrolling down till you see Application Manager or Apps, the name differs per Android device.
Swipe left until you find the ‘All’ applications tab.
Now you have to scroll your screen down to the app that stopped and tap on it.
Here you will clear the data and cache.
What you need to understand is that clearing the data will erase the changes made to the settings of the app, but not the actual content, like your pictures in the gallery app for example. Cleaning all the cache will get your phone rid of saved data which allow apps to load much quicker when you launch them. Erasing this cache will only affects the opening of an app a little bit, but clearing it will also help you to solve the problem.
Uninstall the app
The second method is to uninstall the app. If the app isn't a built-in app, for example Contacts, you can even try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again from the Play Store. You can simply open the Google Play Store and open the menu bar on the left hand side and tap on ''My apps''. Find the app in question and tap on uninstall, which may takes a few seconds. Afterwards, you can install it again from the Play Store.
Soft reset
You can also try a soft reset of your phone. This is very simple process and it is quite effective if your phone has been on for a very long time. The soft reset will do a power cycle on your phone, which means turning it off and then back turning it on again. This will of course won’t delete anything from you phone. It is very a good idea to turn your android phone off every few days for a couple of minutes and it will help a sluggish phone with a variety of issues of phone, whether app problems, network connectivity issues, audio, email app issues and more.
In the case of Google Play Store itself not working, then the solution becomes a little more extensive: you have to delete the cache as a first step and then if this doesn't clear things up, then you can clear your data, and then finally you can uninstall any Play Store updates. The same procedure goes for Google Play services, but remember try these one by one, you don't want to lose all your Play Store preferences for no reason. Last resort: Factory Reset
In the worst case scenario when nothing is working on the phone, you can resort to a factory reset, but again, this shouldn't be done until no other option presents itself. When doing a factory reset, please ensure that you have backed up all of your data beforehand. I repeat: backup all of your data before doing a Factory Reset. I mean it. Do it. A factory reset will wipe your device to factory defaults or I can say it will be in the condition when you have bought it, bugs will be removed from your phone. You can then restore your apps and data after doing factory reset.
